The everyday use of the software in real broadcast conditions shows its numerous advantages and strong sides. Now the DV play software is recognized as a perfect playout solution for small and medium TV stations because of its absolute reliability, features and low cost. It is a great solution especially for the TV stations working with schedule, not having 24 hours human operator and making their signal primary from video files. We released our new DV Play 6 playout solution in January 2012. Based on the great success of its predecessor DV Play 5 and on the feedbacks we received from our customers we have add many new major improvements and totally new features like meta tag libraries, modern Windows 7 style of the interface (resizing and docking of every window). The primary focus of DV Play 6 is to make the playlist creation and the title design creation faster and easier. As we prefer that our customers use in real our features, we have entirely rewritten our manuals and movies (movies will be available soon).

  Title can be included without the need of ANY addition hardware cost as mix of title over signal is done from the hardware of video player. The new title v.6 has an option to play 3D animation and is Unicode compatible.

If you are new in the TV area we recommend you to read our FAQ page. You will understand not only what the DV Play software can do for you, but also the basic conception you should know in order to be able to start successfully your TV project.

In the most common scenario to work with DV Play software you will need 2 computers - one middle class computer with CPU like Intel i3 or i5 3 Gb RAM,SATA HDD 1 TB (no need for RAID configuration) and specialized hardware - a video card like Matrox (for analog signal) or DeckLink (for SDI signal). You will also need a second computer with specifications like an ordinary office computer which you will use for creating playlists and designing titles.

For test purposes you do not need to have any specialized hardware (Matrox or DeckLink video card). All the functions will be the same and the only difference will be that the final result will be seen on the Preview module of the DVPlay software and not on a real TV monitor. All you need to test the solution is a middle class computer and a clean and fresh installation of Windows.
