Test MPEG2 & VMW files

It is very important for your MPEG2 file to be with a correct format, or you will not be able to play it with DVPlay software. One of most common problem is when sound is AC3 format. It should be MPEG1.

You can download program MPEG Properties from here. You should unzip this file, start .bat file and then you will receive menu MPEG Properties when you do right click on MPEG2 file. Then you must see picture as show in follow picture.

WMV file

Due to some differences and uncomfortable of program libraries of WMV you can face problems while playing WMV file with DVPlay software. Problem may be unstable work, or even impossible to start this file with DVPlay's software. In this case please follow next requirements:

1. Install new fresh Windows XP SP 2 ENGSLISH version. It MUST be English version of windows. This step is requiring because we find that if you have already installed Premiere Pro or other program for video you can't create suitable for DVPlay files

2. Install Canopus Edius Pro. You may download and use for test version from site of Canopus

3. Follow steps as show in pictures
